Hello Elena G. I am glad you are here. I look forward to hearing one of your stories.
To those that don't know Elena, Elena runs a detective agency that has detectives through out the Former Soviet Union. She is a fraud expert and a true supporter to those who have been falsely accused. She has seen so much of this over the years that it wears on her.
I don't know if I deserve the "expert" title, though... As far as the immigration fraud, I think you certainly much more of an expert on this issue than I am.
I am more of a "visa and tickets" scam expert, for sure.
Wild Orchid is Russian women who is married to man in Australia. Although she never went through the ordeal herself she seen it happen to her husband's friend. Instead of "minding her own business" as people urged her to do she stepped forward and helped this poor man. I have seen over the years a number of foreign women who risked the ostracism of those in their ethnic community to do the right thing.
Thank you Texan and Maxx for this very informative, supportive, and therapeutic website. Thank you for taking the initiative of putting together and maintening this website.
I am so glad not to be alone in this crushing experience.
No thanks are needed. Maxx and I are not alone in this endeavor. We started with about 16 people in our core group, and probably half have played an active role in what we have done so far.
You are definitely not alone in your experience. Right now, we are probably receiving 3 to 4 emails a week from people just like yourself. People feel alone, hurt, angry, and scared. As our site rises in the search engines, we anticipate our numbers growing quickly. We need people to come forward and tell their stories. We need people to join our group, whether it be as an active member, or someone that just wants to be kept informed of developments. Sixteen people putting together a website and talking about their experiences will not garner much attention, except from people that have experienced the same pain. But if we can turn that sixteen people into 100, 500, 1000, 5000.....how many people are out there?.....then we can attract the attention we deserve!
